The National Association to Promote Library and Information Services
to Latinos and the Spanish-Speaking-REFORMA, established in 1971 as
an affiliate of the American Library Association (ALA), is committed
to the improvement of the full spectrum of library and information
services for Hispanic Americans. Historical Site.
Stanford University Libraries' collections on the historical and contemporary
experience of Hispanic Americans, and in particular Mexican Americans,
are extensive, making Stanford an excellent place for students conducting
research in this area. Latino Website. This

The official electronic discussion group for REFORMA (must be a member, as a student your first year membership is free!). AILA-L, the listserv of the American Indian Library Association. AILA membership includes a subscription to the quarterly Newsletter with information pertaining to library services to Native Americans, and reviews of books on Indians. Membership also makes one eligible to subscribe to AILA-L, a discussion group for AILA members hosted by Oklahoma State University.
